Sited on the shore of Lough Corrib, this sheep dip is an unusual feature that has stood the test of time. It is believe that the sheep dip dates back to 1875. It would have been used to drive sheep through water with purifiers put through it in order to cleanse the sheep of parasites and to preserve their wool.
