Into the West is a film of two young brothers of the settled traveler community, living in high rise apartments, who are given a horse by their Grandfather and subsequently name it ‘Tír Na nÓg’ (Land of Eternal Youth).

The young boys run into trouble with the horse, when a crafty horse dealer takes the horse but the boys manage to stead the horse back and ride him from their high rise flats in Dublin to the West Coast of Ireland.

The popular and picturesque village of Roundstoune provides a stunning backdrop to the film.
